Privacy policy

The short version

This website has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. The only information we ever receive is what you choose to type into the booking or contact form, and we use it to reply to you.

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site, we receive:

• your name, email address and phone number;
• the event ZIP code, date, start time, type and rough guest count, if you provide them;
• your preference for who pays; and
• anything you write in the message box.

Our mail script also records a shortened, one-way hash of your IP address for a few minutes. That exists purely to stop automated spam and cannot be reversed back into your address.

What we do with it

Your submission is sent as an email to info@icecreamtruck1.com so that we can quote your event and get back to you. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, rent it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Where it is stored

Submissions live in our email inbox. The website itself has no database and stores nothing about you. Our web host and our email provider necessarily handle the message while it is in transit, under their own terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept while they are useful for servicing your booking and our own records. If you would like yours removed sooner, ask and we will delete it.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage, pixels, fingerprinting or analytics. See our cookie policy for the detail.

Children

Our service is aimed at the adults who organise events. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website.

Your choices

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
